really enjoy the design on this grimy old robert louis stevenson hardback. i did a simplistic, lighting-speed little cleanup job to create a more usable graphic. i might make further improvements later, but at the moment i find the other imperfections add a certain charm.. definitely workin’ for me, anyway.

^ brown background: simple ‘burlap’ and ‘film grain’ texture filters, respectively.

here’s one more, with posterized edges on the black for a more striking impact. might use it for a homemade postcard.
